Mirasol yarns come from the highlands
of Peru.

The people of the Puno region have one of the lowest levels of health and education in Peru with an illiteracy rate of 95%. Currently these children live miles from the nearest school, and so often choose to give up school and work alongside their parents as shepards. The boarding house will provide the children with much needed nutritional and educational support.
